With a rich history dating back to 1817, Bladnoch is a single malt scotch whisky distillery in south west Scotland. It is one of six remaining lowland distilleries and one of the oldest whisky producers in Scotland.
TASTING NOTES Colour - Deep gold. Nose - Elegant mature nose, old leather, waxy, cedar, polished oak, ginger, vanilla, and malty with a hint of green apples. Palate - Quite spicy, but silky, gingerbread, some honey, vanilla, sweet oak with a hint of Seville orange, and coconut biscuity maltiness. Finish - Sweet and spicy with a hint of citrus, honeycomb, and sweet oaky notes, soft, lingering, gently drying.
